Founding State Partner
Do you know the people who oversee schools, and do they still take your call?
The role
MySchoolRx is a School Health Diagnostic. It brings eight areas of school health into one structured, board-ready view: Instruction, Administrative Leadership, Fiscal, Governance, Compliance, Student Performance, School Management, and Mission and Key Design Elements.
Our first Founding State Partner is Dr. Ron Rizzo, former Director of Charter Schools at Ferris State University, who is taking MySchoolRx to schools and authorizers across Michigan. Now we're looking for a few more experienced education leaders like Ron. Territories are non-exclusive, so more than one partner may work in the same state.
What you'll do
- Introduce the School Health Diagnostic to authorizers, superintendents and district leaders, CMO/EMO and network leaders, and state associations and agencies in your state
- Walk leaders through the sample report and the School and Portfolio experiences (we provide training and materials)
- Invite schools and Portfolios into our Founding Partner program, which is currently free for a limited time, and help them grow into paid annual partnerships
- Bring what you hear in the field back to us so the product keeps getting better
- Give it about 5 to 15 hours a week, on your own schedule
Who you are
- A former or current charter authorizer, superintendent or district leader, CMO/EMO or network executive, or state charter association or agency leader
- Someone with trusted relationships in at least one state
- At home with renewals, performance frameworks, board oversight and corrective action plans
- Entrepreneurial and comfortable helping build something early
- Motivated by schools getting better, not just passing compliance checks
Retired and semi-retired leaders are especially welcome. This role is built for people who want meaningful, flexible work that puts their experience and relationships to good use.
How you're paid
Net revenue means what 589 Labs actually collects, after taxes, refunds, credits, discounts, chargebacks and reversals. Commission begins once an account moves from the free Founding Partner program to a paid license. Opportunities you introduce are protected for 18 months. Territories are non-exclusive: more than one partner may work in the same state.
Pricing your accounts pay
| Schools in the account | Price per school per year |
|---|---|
| Schools 1–4 | $4,995 |
| Schools 5–9 | $2,000 |
| Schools 10–25 | $1,250 |
| Schools 26–50 | $1,000 |
| School 51 and up | $750 |
Pricing is graduated: each price applies only to the schools in that band. Example: a 10-school network pays $4,995 for each of its first 4 schools, $2,000 for each of the next 5, and $1,250 for the 10th.
1 school ($4,995) = $499.50 in year one and $249.75 on the year-two renewal. 10-school network ($31,230 a year) = $3,123 in year one and $1,561.50 on the year-two renewal.
